About Us

The Salisbury Enhancement Committee Inc. (SEC) is a group, comprising of young adults who have collaborated with the aim of uplifting the community and engaging the youth in positive activities. The Committee has pioneered the website project as one of the means of promoting the village and disseminating information on its history, particularly to the Diaspora.

 

Our objectives are:-
·         to revive Salisbury by way of generating community spirit
·         to disseminate information about the community
·         to provide a historical background of the village
·         to promote activities
·         to link persons from the Diaspora to the community
·         to collaborate with other community based organizations
·         to engage and motivate the youth in constructive community activities
.    to promote activities and generate revenue which will lead to infrastructural and social development within the community 
The Salisbury Enhancement Committee recognizes that the internet is playing a significant role in educating persons and believes this is a reliable medium to stimulate and restore the community spirit that Salisbury was so well known and loved for.

In our efforts to see these objectives become a reality, we invite you to also become a builder with us, by contributing your suggestions and ideas.
